T3 Celebrities: Nat Ho Exposed

imageWhilst heading down for our 3pm shoot, we received a rather disturbing phone call from our
stylist who made it apparent that Nat had showed up early and was sitting outside the studio, waiting for our arrival. Not a bad showing from our man of-the-moment, whom upon first sight made it clear to us with his a firm hand shake and brilliant flash of teeth that patience was but one of his better virtues.

A heartthrob who made his debut appearance during the 2005 Singapore Idol has seen singer-cum-actor Nathaniel Ho, turn from the guy-next door to an unpretentious local celebrity in his own rights.

Hi there Nat, thanks for taking time out of your busy
schedule to join us on the stairs leading to our studio!

Games Classification and U: 101 of M18 ratings

“The Media Development Authority (MDA)’s Video Games Classification system has been ‘live’ for a couple of months now, but there’re still people out there writing in, asking us exactly what it is or how it works. We admit, we were confused at first as well, so when MDA offered to help clear the air, we jumped at the chance.

Here is our take on several questions that have been frequently popping up. It’s in no way exhaustive, but it’s surprising how the simple stuff gets lost sometimes….”

Xbox 360: How low can you go?

xbox360

From the likes of the gaming community, we would like to do a great YAY! for ingenuity, but a stifled cry for those (like ourselves) who had originally purchased the 20GB Xbox 360…

We like to quote, and unquote this brilliant display of giving what the people want; where as Alan Bowman, GM of Microsoft’s Asia pacific Entertainment & Devices Division (it was a mouthful, even by our waffling standard) remarks;

“No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver, and now you’ll have three times the storage to manage all that great content.”

22nd August is iPhone Day?

550_iphone3g_trio

Apple recently released better than expected Q3 2008 Financial figures, and a couple of hints were dropped:

1. New products will be launched in upcoming months - the general consensus is that this will be a MacBook Pro/Macbook revision with probably a new form factor. There’s still persistent rumors about an Apple ‘Tablet PC’ as well.

2. Steve Jobs mentioned in a conference call that by the end of the year, the iPhone 3G will be available in up to 70 countries, with the next big launch coming in August 22 with 20 additional countries.

This fits quite soundly in the "By September in Singapore" timeframe that we’ve heard from various sources!
