How to Cool Yourself, the Primitive Way

As the weather heats up to a fever pitch, there are some ways to keep the heat off and stay cool as a cucumber would be. We have segregated the ones that we have employed and are currently utilizing at this very instant to keep cool in a non-air con situation.

  1. Just add water. The relief is almost immediate, and will last for up to one hour or more.
    • Ball up and soak a t-shirt in the sink, wring it out, put it on and sit in a lawn chair (or other chair that lets air through to you) in front of a fan. Re-wet as it dries. Make sure not to soak it with cold water. It can be colder than you think. Instead use lukewarm water so you get cool without freezing. Using a synthetic shirt will ensure no "wet T-shirt" look.

Alright. After watching this info commercial about a power Drink that has been literally pimped as a ‘WOW’ drink, I thought to share this rather novel footage with you guys. It seems so funny mostly for the fact that the presenters make it sound almost like a god-sent, kind of in a charismatic, Believe and be WOW-ed kind of way. Creepy but, it made me want to watch the whole commercial about a drink that utilizes technology to make it what it is today. A Yoli. Yes. A Yoli.

When I was younger, I used to love something called Gobstoppers, which you could probably pick up right next to the likes of the Nerds that sit on that nearby 7-Eleven shelf. Jawbreakers, also known as gobstoppers, have been satisfying sweet teeth for over a century.

Now fast forward years later and I still get the crazy urge to eat some of these jaw breakers, and well, despite the age, the sweet tooth never lessened!
