IF you could be anybody, who might you want to be? Well perhaps a sexy warlock or a masculine wizard… Or a hunky warrior? The options are endless since these are very impersonalized happenings.
That’s where we were a little wrong. Your avatar does reflect a lot about yourself, at least since that’s the image that is portrayed, to people you met for the first time. And remember, first impressions are always the lasting once. Do bear heed kind knight.
Ever wondered what happened to the Comex Show that was scheduled for June? Well, it just took a little longer for its preparation, but it has arrived once again, this time in the month of September!
Sprawling over 5 floors in total, the biggest of its kind, COMEX 2009 focuses on technology that’s relevant to living in digital times in every particular lifestyle be it among kids, women, geeks, boomers or businesses.
According to Venturebeat.com, Microsoft is in talks of purchasing Israeli company, 3DV systems.
3DV system is a company which develops something called ZCam technology. ZCam works similar to Sony’s Eyetoy, but basically contains more accuracy when it comes to movement. It is also aided by 3D cameras that calculates an object’s trajectory and depth, using black-and-white imaging to mark far away objects.
THAT ASIDE, it basically means it’s awesome and actually beats the Wii in terms of technology and that’s saying a lot cause we all know the Wii is already one awesome wonder since… bikinis.
So what does this say about the future? Well, more awesome gaming perhaps. Whatever it is, I hope Microsoft doesn’t compromise other elements of gaming, especially graphics. Who knows, maybe games would be so realistic yet so enjoyable that swinging a +5 sword is the same as swinging 5kg worth of force. And then gaming geeks would become super fit and strong!!! Wow!! Like this guy maybe.
Don’t all excited now. That’s the title of his upcoming collection, Free.
“My intention on FREE was to stay out of the way of the songs,” DeGraw says. “We kept the production very minimal in order to get everything that lies between me and the audience out of the way. By removing all the bells and whistles, you really make room for someone to pay attention to the songwriting.”
With past hits like “Chariot”, we are certainly looking forward to what DeGraw has to offer us.
Skype and Nokia have just announced that they will be working with each other to bring the world’s leading internet communication experience to Nokia phones, starting with the N series. With that, the first phone to start Skyping will be the N97 in the 3rd quater of 2009.
Skype will be added in the N97′s address book, allowing users to to see Skype contacts come online as well as using instant messaging. Users will be able to use 3G or Wlan to easily make or receive Skype calls.
It’s about time. Facebook, Msn and what have you have already made the jump.

Singtel and HTC have just announced that the HTC Dream, an Android-power phone will be released in Asia. Singtel subscribers would hence be the first to enjoy this eagerly-anticipated device, something substantial to show off to others.
Peter King, a republican from New York has recently proposed the Camera Phone Predator Alert Act to call attention to the fact that “children and adolescents have been exploited by photographs taken in dressing rooms and public places with the use of a camera phone.”
If approved, it would be required that all camera phones emit a clear and distinguishable sound to alert everyone in the area that a picture is being taken by a camera phone.
Well, personally, I think this isn’t such a bad idea. Not only would we be wary of perverts in the restrooms or changing rooms, it would give Singaporeans something to think about before they take pictures or videos of random people doing stupid things and then uploading them on the net just to embarrass them. Seriously, it’s overdone, and immature.
If it were up to me, the sound emitted would have to be a loud “OEI”.
