Studio Monitor Speakers – An Insight

I don’t consider myself an audiophile. I also admit that my DAW (digital audio workstation) monitor speakers do not produce the best unbalanced sound required for a perfect mix. But this article reassures me that I am not alone.

Never before has a game made us say ‘bloody hell’ out loud so often…

The quick answer is ‘yes’, and the three word answer is ‘it’s a bloody digital masterpiece’ (alright then, that’s four words).

Old Devices are Incompatible with Time

My previous Creative SLIX SFF (small form factor) PC was used specially to record TV. Now that it’s sold, I switched over the card to my other Intel PC. For a few days, it refused to work, and kept crashing when I ran the software. Today, I finally found the fix, a configuration file different from the installation CD which was fortunately still available for download at the product website. The moment I replaced the config file, my TV card became useful again.

It appears that Nokia has more than its usual hat-trick up their belt… with the iPhone’s yet-to-premier Asian appearance

Tom Libretto, vice president of Forum Nokia seems to believe that the company can compete for the iPhone’s marketshare, though Nokia isn’t about to spill the beans on the ‘when and how’ on this iPHone killer.

 

Keep a close eye on this baby, and you just might not need to hack into the imported set that you’re toting around.
