Here’s a teaser for what’s coming in Nov – the Xperia X1… It is finally here…
The Xperia™ X1 comes complete with X-factors that make it the ultimate Window Mobile® convergence device, letting you run your world, your way.
Not exactly a UFO but rather, a Unique-Foreign-Object that has finally found its way to our shores. Available in 512MB to 4GB capacities, these mimobot® Designer hi-speed USB2.0 Flash Drives have novelty written all over its artistically-constructed interface.
Merging what we denote as ‘the art of the progressive Vinyl Toy movement’ with a highly-functional tech-twist, aka USB-flash memory keys… these characters immediately translate into what modernity is all about. Bring these portable mimobots out and access their preloaded exclusive digital content, from animation, games, music and even its mimobot soundByte™ application.

When it comes to designer phones, what people look for is the perfect combination of style, sophistication, and a really pumped up price. The people who buy these phones are not buying them to make calls, but to make a statement; they are rich and they want to show it!
The Motorola Aura is no exception when it comes to the perfect blend of sophistication and high price, that is if you think 3,000 SGD is high. What comes inside the phone is of small relevance to its owners, and what’s outside matters more. If I had to choose one word to describe it, gorgeous, would be just about it.
Technically speaking, the display supports 16 million colors and a 300dpi resolution, sports a 2-megapixel camera, blah blah blah.. okay, enough with the tech talk let’s drool over the exterior a bit, ’cause let’s face it, that’s what this phone is all about. What we like was in its smooth-metallic finish that makes for an enchanting glint by our books. Also, its lens that are (mind you) made of 1.6-carat sapphire crystal; the gems on this baby really makes for an after-glow artas effect. Note too that the gears within this mobile are tungsten carbide coated, in short, hardy as perhaps a lady’s fingernails after intensive nail-hardening polish treatment…You get our drift. It also comes with a swivel mechanism that has over 130 precision ball bearings.
Hmmm… $3,000 doesn’t seem that much now does it? Almost a bargain, some would say.
With the introduction of the CyberShot Sony Ericsson’s C905, there has to be yet another 8MP camera phone to fit our bill…
The mega-gaming event of this holiday season, X08 is set to turn the atrium of Marina Square into the hottest gaming nexus in town from 24th to 26th October 2008.
Alison Carroll as Lara Croft
With special guest stars like the real-life Lara Croft from “Tomb Raider” and even a special fan night for Xbox gamers; the event also features local band Electrico at their best with real and virtual instruments. Did we mention the great promotional offers to kick-start your gift-buying season?
If you’re puzzling at the moment over what events you’ll be partaking in, perhaps a little music is all you need to jive up your life. Returning once again to our shores, the Singapore Sun Festival is set to perform yet another class act.
Do check out the virtuoso flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook and crooner Spencer Day, if you’re an advert jazz lover, where their music pieces will move literally move you.
