And so the months have rolled by with a Ho-Ho Merry Christmas almost upon us, and I figured that as much as we’re into pampering ourselves with a barrage of luxury gadgets, there are some limitations we have to consider– namely a pocket full of holes (posies). It is an age old belief that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, or rather that’s what the media ads for Lee Hwa and Soo Kee Jewellery want us to cater to. Not a wrong move, especially since women are all about being self-empowering, but when muscle-technology meets our diamond studs, we do get a little soft in the knees…
Defining Lux-Tech
To define, Luxury devices this day and age aren’t simply the unattainable god-like ‘magnums’ that are so illusive you’ve got to know somebody, to know somebody else in order to get the scoop. Diamond-encrusted Vertus and Lamborghini laptops, that are exclusive to the rich and famous? Not anymore. Instead, luxury tech refers to pamper-worthy goods, novel technology-enabled devices (gadgets: defined) that are the super-toys of the moment.
