Skullcandy again! With the world’s coolest headphones

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

In continuation of the previous post of Skullcandy making headlines in the industry, Skullcandy president, Jeremy Andrus is confident that they would be able to make “no.2.”, up from their current third position behind Philips Electronics and Sony.

Skullcandy seems to be coming up by dishing out innovative products that cater to the young and fashionable. Imagine creating a set of headphones made out of fake alligator skin and rhinestones.

It is rare that an electronics company can hit that very spot which evokes the magic of lifestyle among consumers, and Skullcandy is able to do just that. They don’t seem to have any problems keeping things fresh especially with their team that certainly knows what they are doing. Imagine a half-pipe situated right in their office. We kid you not.

Check out the world’s coolest cans!

Do you believe in Magic?

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

It’s a bit cliched, but when you launch a mobile called ‘Magic’, the audience does kind off expect a magic show, which is exactly what happened when HTC unveiled the second Android-OS phone, the Magic to the media recently.

Put your trust, in Skullcandy

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Why? Cause apparently, they are recession-proof. Skullcandy is proud to report that sales this year are projected to surpass the $100 million mark, up from the $86.5 million mark it achieved last year.

Launched in 2003, Skullcandy makes headphones and other personal audio products for a “low-attention-span” generation interested in listening to music all the time.

Here’s a little history of them. Rick Alden (omg nice name!)got the idea of producing headphones that work in tandem with cell phones and other mobile accessories for 12-to-25 year olds when he was on a ski lift and his cell phone rang while listening to music, forcing him to strip off his gloves and fumble for the right device.

Head on down to www.skullcandy.com for the good stuff that caters to the “low-attention-span” generation ;)
